MICHELLE WALLING: “11 Signs That You May Need A Soul Shard Retrieval”

Ascension Avatar

Traumatic physical and emotional events can cause shards or pieces of our soul’s energy to fragment away. Soul loss is a mechanism which serves to protect us from unbearable suffering. These soul shards usually return back after a few hours or even days, but in some extreme cases these shards can stay fragmented. Soul shards can also be caused by a psychic attack from someone practicing black magic on us.

When we have an emotional trauma happen to us, we actually may leave a part of our energy “frozen” in that time or moment. This keeps us from actually being able to feel better and move on. If we do not “heal” or retrieve our energy several things can happen to these soul shards, but mostly they fall into these categories:

—A shard can become an entity of its own, a copy of you. This entity could wander off into…

How To Be More Spiritual Tip: YOU ALREADY ARE!

By doing what you do in your day-to-day lives, you’re already helping people. You might not even realize it; but the smile and kind words you said to the clerk at the store may have changed their life. Just being your authentic self brings and grounds positive energy into the earth at all times of the day and night.

However, stepping into bigger roles does start with small steps. If we’re not trusted to simply be kind to the people we stumble across in our daily existence, why should we be trusted dealing with severe states of emotional, physical, mental or spiritual distress in others?

It seems quite logical that we…

STEPHANIE LUCAS: “7 Ways Mind – Body – Spirit Minded Warriors Tend to Do Things Differently…”

Mind Body Spirit Warrior

You know who they are… those people who constantly seem to draw the one-eyebrow lift, the rolling eyes, or the little ‘cuckoo’ finger twirl out of people they encounter. Like myself, you might even be one of the recipients of those subtle and not-so-subtle judgments or you may be the naysayer holding the gavel. It’s not likely the spiritual warrior is affected by anyone’s negative thoughts, because they very well know that they indeed tend to approach life differently.

1. They Speak of Energy and Vibration… Often

Let something come out slip out that’s derogatory or negative around a mind/body/spirit minded person and prepare to be reminded about the encompassing power of words as vibrational frequencies that are manifesting your reality. They may speak of subjects like quantum science, sacred geometry, Lightworkers, collective consciousness, universal energy, etc. They will often try to help you see the light, goodness, and lessons in all occurrences, particularly with challenging issues.

2. Happily Handle a Crisis with Class

Whether they are helping themselves or someone else, learning the lesson is a primary goal of an enlightened soul. From broken relationships and lost jobs to issues of a medical or external nature, there’s always a lesson to learn that can help you get over the issue and prevent its recurrence. Sometimes simply finding the GOOD and the BEAUTY in superficially negative situations can be relieving, freeing, and they are all part of the experience of the journey.

3. Their Idea of a Good Time Differs from the ‘Norm’

Mind – body – spirit minded people are likely to suggest a quiet night at home before meeting up at a club. They’re more likely to invite you to a festival or a retreat where yoga and meditation are on the menu instead of cocktails and juicy steaks. Reading and nature walks prevail over TV… while they are not spending their time partying, they aren’t planning for the future either but are busy Living in the Now. Even when it comes to vacationing, your ‘hippie-like’ friend may lean towards sweat lodges, eco-villages, educational vacations, or seemingly insane exotic wilderness treks.

4. They Believe in Unicorns, Dragons, Faeries, and Otherworldly Beings

While many of us may speak very boldly about riding unicorns and harboring fire-breathing dragons… or hanging out with Hobbits in the shire – rest assured, you will not see this in the physical realm – nor do we. Rather, spiritual people may see and communicate with these ‘friends’ along with faeries, sky Gods, and so forth while tinkering around in other realms. Many of us believe that we are from other realms (think Pleiadians, Arcturians) and are aware of our concurrent existence in other dimensions. Granted, part of this seemingly (but doubtfully) may relate to the fact that…

5. Some are Psychedelic Superstars

From Timothy Leary’s studies on LSD to today’s growing knowledge concerning the use of DMT/Ayahuasca to tap into the subconscious, the use of hallucinogens has been long studied but is still controversial. Either way, many metaphysical people use substances ranging from legal Dreaming Herbs to other psychedelic substances to further their journey to ascension, merge with their higher self, and to discover ultimate truths about themselves and the universe. I will plead the 5th.

6. They Often Opt Out of Politics, Prayer, and Programming

When I say ‘prayer,’ I refer to the type propelled by formal religion; however, the metaphysical warrior understands that all words, thoughts, affirmations, etc. ARE prayers of sorts – just not the kind to an ‘official’ God/Presence/Being. Spiritual people are more likely to offer to send you love and light and energy over a ‘prayer.’

Politics are often wasted on the spiritual being who tends to not place much power in institutions like the government. Many of my friends on the metaphysical path flat refuse to watch TV and some don’t even own one, nor care to. I guess TMZ’s latest revelation and endless zombies don’t have much a place for with those Living a 5-D existence.

7. Hip to Being Hyper Eco-conscious

Recycling is a must and the spiritual warrior is likely to give YOU the raised eyebrow look when you show up carrying one of those pesky, earth damaging plastic bottles of water… it may not be unusual to encounter some yellow being mellow in the bathroom… they are all about the car pool and hybrid autos – you get the picture.

What are some things you notice about people on the enlightened path? What do YOU do differently or find yourself leaning towards changing as you traverse your mind – body – spirit journey?

STEPHANIE LUCAS: “Power Animals, Totem Animals, & Animal Archetypes – Oh My!”

Art-36a-700x325We recently published a piece exploring the amazing realm of Power Animals, which brought on a few questions from readers about the difference between Power Animals and Power Totems and Animal Archetypes. It’s beautiful to see a resurgence of interest in indigenous teachings concerning the power of utilizing our animal counterparts to help guide us in connecting and realigning with our spiritual environment and oneness with Nature. So, let’s delve into these ‘differences.

What are Power Animals and How Do We ‘Run’ With Them?

You may be born with a Power Animal that you become conscious of or are guided to through a shamanic experience. They may change during your lifetime, as they are gifts of consciousness intended to guide and protect you along your journey – so they may be similar to you in traits or they may complement your aspects and assist you areas in which you need strength. Sometimes, Power Animals come to us in times of grief, pain, or in times of soul losses.

For example, if you suffer from a lack of interest or malaise, your Power Animal may return to you as a monkey to inspire curiosity and interest. If you have fallen prey to unforeseen dangers, it may be tiger that comes to assist. Under their protection it is believed that your natural instinctual self will feel safe enough to return to you and that Power Animal might then depart. Totem Animals Help Ones Self-Discovery

Totem Animals often represent ancestral lineages, lore, belief systems, and/or aspects of villages, clans, or families. Cultures around the world use totems as sources of strength – a medicine of sorts – that helps them draw and define the meaning and purpose of their soul and existence.

Many Native Americans belief that you have one Spirit Totem that will be with you for life acting as your primary guardian spirit, yet many may enter and leave your life as they are needed to aid your journey. If not through lineage, many people discover their Totem Animal simply because they have an inexplicable attraction to a particular creature or keep finding themselves in the company of a certain animal in both physical and dream realms. Intuition guides you to your totem…your Totem then guides you.

The Profound Pleasure of Animal Archetypes

According to Jungian psychology, archetypes are some of the highest developed elements of the collective unconscious that serve to interact and call upon the Divine glory of the universal web in a specific way. Many indigenous cultures consider Animal Archetypes as guides to universal organizing principles in which they ultimately orchestrate their world around. For example, to ‘shed’ old problems and reconnect with the earth, one might call on Serpent…yet, if one wants to ‘rediscover’ and enjoy the nectar of the universe – hummingbird might be called upon. Essentially, Animal Archetypes in generally may be how an entire culture chooses to define and manifest their world.

Power Animals

Use your Inner Shaman to Discover Your Power Animal or Take a fun quiz to see if they nailed your Power Animal – most importantly, use your totems and archetypes as well, just as the indigenous used them to engage with the natural world. Interact with them regularly, run wild, and unleash the beast…

ALEXA PELLEGRINI: “Everyday Shamanism: Accessing the Healer Within”

Shamanism

Several years ago, I never would have dreamed of calling myself a Shaman. But, after incorporating principles of shamanism into my daily routine, I’ve experienced how just about anyone can be a Shaman. After dealing with emotional trauma connected to illnesses and broken relationships, I looked into alternative healing methods in order to cleanse myself of negative energy. Learning about the ways of the Shaman enlightened me to the interconnectedness of all things and taught me how to tap into my own energy in order to heal my soul.

Shamanism is all about coming into yourself — your own power. A traditional Shaman enters alternate dimensions in order to rebalance a client’s mind/body/spirit connection and to retrieve fragments of the soul lost to emotional, mental or physical trauma. However, Shamanism is unique because it’s accessible. You don’t need a fancy certificate in order to become a Shaman. In order to be a true Shaman, you must be ready to reactive your consciousness, face your truths and release what holds you back. If you’re ready to take back control of your life from pain, anxiety and fear, these Shamanic principles are perfect for you.

ShamanismHonor the Spirt of Mother Earth

Unplug your laptop, cellphone and get outside for at least 20 minutes each day. Practice gratefulness by acknowledging all that the earth gives us. Send positive energy to the earth by giving back: volunteer to clean up a forest or park, pick up litter when you see it, and conserve your water. If you’re not already recycling, make it a goal to start. Try gardening and if possible, buy locally grown food. Spending time in nature will refresh and invigorate your spirit. Taking a walk outdoors, especially around greenery, will cleanse your Root Chakra, ground you and ease your anxieties.

Recognize the Effects of your Energy

Do you tend to attract difficult people or damaging relationships? Are you struggling to manifest what you want? The chances are, your own energy is the root cause. Avoid wasting energy on anger and cynicism, as this tends to invite negative people and situations into your life. When you have negative thoughts, replace them with optimistic words and compassionate images to attract loving energy. Shamans focus on manifesting a reality filled with love. In a reality filled with love, there is no room for the existence of hate, and you will free yourself of attracting these painful energies.

Tune into Nature’s Hidden Messages

Shamans are always attuned to coincidences and hidden meanings, especially those found in nature. A favorite animal or an animal that continues to cross your path may be your spirit animal visiting you as a wake-up call or to remind you of your strengths. You can research this animal’s symbolic meaning and how it fits into your journey toward spiritual ascension. To discover your spirit animal, try this Shamanic healing exercise. All you need is a quiet space and a shard of Amethyst.

Shamanism

A Shamanic Healing Exercise: Find Your Spirit Animal

  1. Breathe in and out through your nose 10 times. Relax and listen to the flow of your breathing.
  2. Imagine yourself in a sacred space disconnected from the chaos of the world — the beach, the forest, a mountain top. What sounds do you hear? What colors do you see?
  3. Now, hold your Amethyst on the center of your forehead, on the Third Eye Chakra. Allow your mind to relax and open up to receiving divine messages from your spirit guides. Picture a soothing, violet glow enveloping your forehead, clearing out blockages your psyche.
  4. Envision your spirit guides coming to you in animal form. What animal do you see? How do you feel within its presence? What sort of energy or message is it sending to you?
  5. When you’re ready, envision yourself approaching your spirit animal and reach out to touch it. Take in the power, strength and courage of your spirit animal; feel yourself absorb its love and light into all of your Chakras, freeing you of anxiety and pain.

ShamanismHealing Changes Start from Within

In practice, a Shaman assists her client as he enters alternate spirit dimensions and becomes empowered during the healing process. The Shaman doesn’t do the work for him — she simply guides him on the journey as he heals himself on a spiritual plane. The bottom line: you are your own best healer. Look deep within yourself and examine everything in your life that works and doesn’t work, and don’t be afraid to make changes. Shamanism is built on the foundation that change is an inevitable part of life, and only you have the power to make the changes necessary to manifest the reality you seek.
