CAITLIN JOHNSTONE: “The Great Unpatterning Continues — Make Sure You Take Advantage Of It”

Ascension Avatar

“I often hear people in my line of work saying ‘Man, we’re going to look back on all this crazy sh*t and think about how absolutely weird it was!’ No we won’t. Because it’s only going to get weirder. It’s only going to get weirder, because that’s what it looks like when old patterns start to fall away. The human mind is conditioned to look for patterns in order to establish a baseline of normal expectations upon which to plan out future actions. This perceptual framework exists to give us safety and security, so disruptions in the patterns upon which it is based often feel weird, threatening, and scary. They make us feel insecure, because our cognitive tool for staying in control of our wellbeing has a glitch in it. This great unpatterning is going to continue, in many wild and unexpected ways. And things are going to keep getting stranger. Watch for…

‘NAVIGATING TUMULTUOUS WATERS’ ~ Caitlin Johnstone: “2020 Is Going To Get Much Crazier — Prioritize Your Mental Health”

Ascension Avatar

As I said back in November, things are going to get weirder and weirder throughout the foreseeable future. We’re coming to a point in history where the only reliable pattern is the disintegration of patterns, and 2020 has come storming out of its corner swinging for the fences working to establish this pattern with extreme aggression. We’re not going to hit a point of stability or normality this year, we’re going to see things get crazier and crazier and crazier. I don’t know what’s going to happen, but I know it’s going to be nuts.

In such an environment, it’s going to be absolutely essential to take exceptional care of your psychological health if you want to remain engaged with what’s going on in the world in a positive way.

And I do mean exceptional. Whatever you’re doing now, do more. Start cultivating new habits to keep yourself lucid and…

CAITLIN JOHNSTONE: “Why Everything Is F*cked”

Ascension Avatar

“This is ultimately the answer to every question about why things are f*cked right now. Why does it seem like nothing changes no matter who wins the election? Why do the wars keep expanding instead of ending? Why are those nuclear superpowers hurtling closer toward direct confrontation? Why are the mass shootings increasing? Why is everyone so miserable? Because every adult on this planet started off tiny, helpless, impressionable, and surrounded by gargantuan madmen, and it made it almost impossible to be sane. That’s why. We all slid out of the womb an itty bitty helpless information sponge into a world full of mentally ill giants who couldn’t wait to fill our tiny skulls with all of their inner demons. And now everything, understandably, is f*cked.”

THE DISSOLVING MATRIX ~ Caitlin Johnstone: “Patterns”

Circle of the Dolphins

“So many of spiritual-type people’s highest values would work fine in a world without sociopaths. Forgiveness, humility, trust, seeing people’s basic innocence, etc., they work fine until you run into a manipulator with no empathy. In this world they require much more nuanced use. Things are getting stranger and stranger. Things getting stranger and stranger is what it looks like when long-fixed patterns begin to dissolve. For a species that has been on a trajectory toward self-destruction, patterns dissolving can only be a good thing. We’ll win this.”

BRENDA HOFFMAN: “Giggles Without Boundaries”

Circle of the Dolphins

Ascension Avatar note: I’ve had ‘the giggles’ all morning to the point of stern self-chastisement (“What is wrong with you today?!”). Apparently I haven’t lost my ‘inner child’… 😊

.  .  .

Dear Ones,

You continue to be more task-oriented than child-centered. Yet your most direct action path is a child-like belief, innocence, and play. All of which most of you push to the sidelines as you complete one should task after another.

Even though you might enjoy those tasks, enjoying them does not necessarily preclude child-like fun and innocence.

Do you not feel some sparkles of joy and innocence when you observe a small child in Santa’s lap? Reviewing memories of how you used to believe in magic and joy without boundaries.

Likely, your flashes of joy or child-like fun are pierced by thoughts of what you should be doing — and enjoying it as you do. For you…
